"Yoga, the union between mind, body, and spirit; the anchor drawing me back to myself and the earth. Without this practice I am adrift, a sea of discontent and un-knowing."
More than twenty years ago a yoga video tape landed in my hands that changed my life forever. Suddenly I had found somewhere for me; a peaceful place to re-direct anger, sadness, trauma, and transform it into love, positivity and hope.
Fast forward to 2022 and following a year of profound grief and illness I decided to harness this connection to my yoga mat, and go deeper. An opportunity to study for my 200hr teaching certificate presented itself and despite never before believing I was good enough to teach, hungry for knowledge, I signed up.
On my journey with Happy Jack Yoga University something wonderful happened...all my years of spiritual exploration, nature connection and nomadic living — of seeking out a calmer, more peaceful existence — came together within the greater sphere of yoga. I had found where I wanted to direct my energy fully.
Wherever I am in the world yoga is with me and along with my own daily physical and spiritual practices, I now share yoga within my e-courses as well as through on-line and in-person classes. From 2023 I will also be leading nature-inspired, health-focused yogaretreats with my husband, both in the UK and abroad.
